It was a very special day. In April we received the news that the RTL Foundation “Wir helfen Kindern” (We help children) is donating 50,000 euros to the AMPO orphanages.

As if that was not enough, we were also invited to Cologne to receive the provisional cheque. We had an exciting morning ahead. Several NGOs who had received an award were able to get to know each other, exchange ideas and build networks together.

We had the distinct impression that the Foundation is doing all it can to provide a public platform for NGOs.

And who knows? Some day we might feature in one of the RTL TV shows or they might even pay a visit to AMPO in Ouagadougou.

Since the RTL Foundation and AMPO both celebrated their 30th anniversaries last year, we were happy to present them with our AMPOLINE to express our thanks.
