We held an online meeting with the DEVELOPmed.Aid organisation on the 20th of May. Two of the founders, Katrin Rohde and Dr. Lena Katharina Müller, spoke about the cooperation between the two organisations and how that came about. We also talked about the challenges facing development work in Ouagadougou. But there were exchanges on a happier note as well. All of us are in admiration of the commitment of these young people who founded this relief organisation when they were still students. Thanks to the cooperation between AMPO and DEVELOPmed.Aid it has been possible to carry out major medical interventions on nearly 1,400 children so far.
